Banners

As a member of ‘Graphics Team’ I was responsible for the banners, especially the one that will be displayed above the students information page. Creating banners is an easy thing, but it is very important to make sure that the banner represents the ‘theme’.
Before I made the banners I had made some research. The first think I found was this one:

None of these matches the ‘Design Studio’ theme. So I visited many websites belonging to design studios to find inspiration and ideas to produce my banners.

I quickly noticed that many banners for Design Studios look very similar. It is very bright and blur style. When you look at the banner you don’t know, in fact, what you are looking at. I decided to go with this style and I made some banners based on ones that inspired me.

The last two are the ideas for presentation banners

(just an idea. I didn't finish this one)

(this one I like more..)

  1. The same applies to your banners: where is the application of final concept and logo in them? They are completely different concepts from the one Web, Exhibition and your team decided last week. Also, be sure to have in high resolution files the final logo and colours of the final graphics (logo and type).

  2. Although these ideas are very clean and professional looking, they do not conform with the style of the exhibiiton. Try using more 'arty' elements in these designs.
